Stingray

Are any of y'all SCARED of stingrays?
I am a little bit! :) They just make my skin craw... :D

 

Design 

The stingrays eyes are on the top of its body,and its mouth is on the underside of its body. This makes it impossible for a stingray to see what it is eating. Therefore, the stingray relies on its keen sense of smell to help it identify its food. 

There is a little about this cool but a little scary creature... :)

Here are several different sharks for you! :)

1:

Whale Shark 

 

• The whale shark is dark gray or greenish gray from its back to the middle of its sides. Its belly is off-white.
• White or light yellow spots and lines are also distinguishing features of the whale shark.
• Whale sharks can grow to a length of 60 ft (18 m). 

2:

Bonnethead Shark 

 

• This shark is a grayish-brown color on its dorsal side with a lighter underside.
• It has small teeth in the front of its mouth and broad teeth in the back. 

3: 

Blacktip Reef Shark 

 

• The blacktip reef shark has black tips on its fins, a white band on the dorsal fin, and a light streak on each side.
• This shark is a sleek, active swimmer. 

4: 

Blue Shark 

 

• This shark is deep blue on its dorsal side, lighter blue on its sides, and white on its belly. This type of coloration is called “counter-shading.” 
• The blue shark has a relatively long snout and extremely long pectoral fins. 

5: 

Great Hammerhead Shark 

 

• he most distinguishing feature of the great hammerhead shark is the shape of its almost rectangular head. The anterior margin is nearly straight. 
• Its eyes are located at each end of its hammer-like head. 

6: 

Leopard Shark 

• The leopard shark is most distinguished by the dark barbs on its dorsal fins. 
• A young leopard has dark patches across its back and spots on its sides. As it ages it will usually lose these dark markings. 

7: 

Tiger Shark 

 

• The tiger shark’s coloring varies from bluish or greenish gray to black on its back and from light gray to yellow on its belly. 
• The tiger shark’s tail has a large upper lobe, which delivers the power it needs for slow cruising or sudden bursts of speed. 

8: 

Nurse Shark 

 

• This sluggish shark has a yellowish-brown to dark brown body that is relatively flat. 
• Some have small dark spots or patches on their bodies. 

9: 

Whitetip Reef Shark 

 

• The distinguishing feature of this shark is the white coloring on the tip of its fins. 
• Its belly is white and the rest of its body is gray-brown. 

10: 

Zebra Shark 

 

• This shark is cylindrical with a long tail and broad head. 
• Its gray body is covered with dark brown spots.

Zebra

Well, i hope you all like ZEBRAS!!! I do! I think that they are so interesting!!! :)




The zebra is a wild horse and lives in East Africa. Its habitat is the savannas and open forests, in which it spends the entire day grazing. If the weather in summer is too hot, the zebra will rest during the day and nourish itself at night. 

Height: 3.6–5 feet (1.1–1.5 m) at shoulder
Weight: 546–785 pounds (248–357 kg)
Length: 6.6–7.3 feet (2–2.3 m)
Life Span: 10 years
Special Design Feature: The zebra’s stripes make them difficult to see when they venture out to feed and water at dusk.
